Hey here is part 2 of Chistmas goodies, 

                           Pecan  Bars   


                1/2c. butter    1/2t. vanilla

               1/2c. sugar        1-3/4c. flour

               1t. lemon peel  ( I used orange peel but you can do either one )

Beat butter on high for 30 seconds. Add sugar, lemon peel and vanilla. beat in flour. Pat in the the bottom of a 13″x9 pan  and bake at 350* degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce  oven to 325 degrees,remove  crust from the oven and pour in filling.


             1/3c. butter          3t.sugar

   1/2c. brown sugar          1-3/4c. pecans

         1/3c.  honey              1/4c. whipping cream

Combine first four ingredients in a saucepan and cook over medium heat until it comes to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in pecans and cream. pour over crust and bake 25 minuets. Cut into bars when cool.

 I love love love, this time of year, I am planning on posting all kinds of Christmas goodies !!!  Here is one that does not last for very long around here 🙂

                                                                Peanut Butter Balls

                                                            1 Lb. Butter           2c. peanut butter

                                                         3t. vanilla                   2 lb.powdered sugar

                                                     Roll into balls referigerate over night , dip in melted Chocolate!!!

                                                                     WARNING VERY RICH ( HA HA )

Christmas decorating

  1. Hi everybody, I just love this time of the year I hope you all had a good  Thanksgiving!! We went to our Grandparents for Thanksgiving  we had a wonderful time. Well the day after  Thanksgiving  my  Dad my sister and I put up Christmas lights all around the outside of the house. It was so much fun…… it was also alot of work!!
